Sloganless post

There are three kinds of things created by man.

The first is beautiful and it surprises you. A surprise that wears off with time. The beauty too. Sometimes fast. Usually slow. Like today's music. The ugly side slowly reveals itself and so does our disappointment.

The second is ugly and it makes you hate it. And sometimes when you look closely, its beauty reveals itself. Slowly.

And the third is the balance we seek in everything around us. And it's the beautiful that does not turn ugly. Beauty that can conquer time, whims, fashion and our fickle eye. And we are not satisfied with seeking it. It's human nature to try and create it.

And that is what we call art

But this balance can be annoying.
Don't you think?

Now that you say it, yes...
Here's an old poem for you fingers:

A SWEET disorder in the dress
Kindles in clothes a wantonness :
A lawn about the shoulders thrown
Into a fine distraction :
An erring lace which here and there
Enthrals the crimson stomacher :
A cuff neglectful, and thereby
Ribbons to flow confusedly :
A winning wave (deserving note)
In the tempestuous petticoat :
A careless shoe-string, in whose tie
I see a wild civility :
Do more bewitch me than when art
Is too precise in every part.

Good one!! Both your post as well as the poem in the comment section.

As far as I see, Balance need not be annoying unless there is balance always which is the other name for monotony or being "predictable". Some sort of balance in certain things always doesnt hurt... My two cents
